Why did we start runpup?

runpup came about after our 4-month old puppy Theo (seen above) pulled free from his handheld leash and bolted across a busy main road during peak hour.

Luckily, he wasn't harmed, but it was a heart-stopping moment we will never forget, and is exactly why we created the runpup hands-free leash - to give dog parents peace of mind, knowing their pup is securely by their side.
